This pastry sour is brewed with oats for that incredible mouthfeel and then marshmellows, kiwi and passion fruit. It's desert in a can. It's finally here. It wouldn't be an advent calendar without To Ol. Advent 2022 Day 20 is To Ol Mexican Hot Chocolate BA Imperial Stout 2022. It's a mouthful to say and delicious mouthful to consume. Cinnamon, chocolate and chili mixed with walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, pecans, and lactose into a classic To Ol imperial milk stout. It's then aged in bourbon barrels for 12 months. How can you not want to drink this?

Advent 2022 Day 19 brings back the hops. It's a collab between Transient Artisan Ales and Saint Errant Brewing. Bandersnatch is a double dry-hopped ipa made with citra and sabro hops. It's a 7.8% ABV hoppy, fruity very drinkable IPA. Beware the Bandersnatch...the jaws that bite, the claws that catch!

Advent 2022 Day 18 bring another great stout. Griffin Claw Flying Buffalo Vintage 2020 is a Russian imperial stout. There are lots of vintages of Flying Buffalo but none for 2020, weird. This 12% ABV stout is aged on bourbon barrels for 9 months before being released at peak barrel. It's a thick beer but a light boozy treat. This is made for sipping and letting it get a little air first.

Advent 2022 Day 16 brings another geuze. This truely is a wonderful time of the year. Boon Geuze Vat 93 was released as a mixed vat four pack. Every one of the beers has been outstanding. Vat 93 is no exception. Like the others, this is light, funky with hints of lemon and apple. If you can find any of the Boon Vat series, be sure to pick them up.

Advent 2022 Day 15 is a real conumdrum. Azvex's The Fermi Paradox is a double ipa from Liverpool, England. It's hopped with a delicious blend of strata, motueka and citra. What is a Fermi Paradox? It is the discrepancy between the lack of conclusive evidence of advanced extraterrestrial life and the apparently high likelihood of its existence, and by extension of obtaining such evidence. Just keep looking to the skies and drinking this beer.

Advent 2022 Day 14 is an impressive pastry sour. Prairie Artisan's Cleveland Cowboy is a cherry pie treat. This imperial pastry sour has tart cherries, sweet cherries, vanilla, cinnamon and pecans. This legit tastes like cherry pie with a little vanilla. We lose our minds a little in this tsunami of sweet and tart cherries.

Advent 2022 Day 13 is a hazy day. Monkish is one of the leaders in creating hazy double ipas. Foggy Windows is just what you would expect from them. This julicy hazy douple ipa is made with nelson, galaxy and extra citra hops. It's damn near a perfect dipa.
