City of Fremantle councillor Adin Lang is calling for better control of local cat laws.

He told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings that Fremantle council has approved new confinement laws to stop the killing of 338 million animals annually.

But a State Government review prevents the laws from being in place and provides no plans for a more robust state-wide approach.
