Wade. This week, we bring on two people who hope to influence the future of abortion in North Carolina, where it remains legal. Tami Fitzgerald runs the conservative N.C. Values Coalition, and Rep. Julie von Haefen, a Wake County Democrat, spent time in Mexico earlier this year to learn about the very different status of abortion in different parts of that country. We will talk about where their strong stances on abortion come from, the SCOTUS decision, what North Carolina should do next and Rep. von Haefen’s trip to Mexico.
