Maggie takes time this hour to examine the mass resignations from the US Department of Justice. There is a current subversion of democratic processes by the Trump administration. The jobs at the Department of Justice are the top of the pyramid for lawyers. They are not jobs people resign from. They are coveted jobs, and as Maggie points out, these people believe deeply in what they do. This many resignations suggest they believe their integrity has been compromised. Under the current administration, it might get worse before it gets better. Judicial independence and taking an oath works for both sides.
