The John Deere 2730 Combination Ripper is an absolute weapon in the paddock. It’s built for blokes running big acres who want to smash out tillage in one hit.
You’ve got discs up front, ripper shanks through the middle, and finishing gear out the back—so you’re cutting trash, ripping compaction, and levelling it all at once. Saves time, saves fuel, job done.
It handles heavy stubble like a champ too—no clogging up every five minutes, which is a massive win. And the in-cab controls mean you can tweak depth on the fly without hopping out like it’s 1995.

Welcome back to the poddy!

We’re talking about what we’ve been up to on the farm – shearing sheep, making hay and silage, preg testing the cows, fencing and even drenching. It’s been super busy and a bit crazy, but also kinda fun.

Come listen to what it’s really like behind the gate! 🐑🌾🚜
