Facebook hosted a global launch party of parties - Watch Parties, that is.

Snapchat makes way for their 'Storytellers'.

Facebook looks to bring ads to their Stories, Pinterest sits down to tell us some stories about their users, while Twitter provides a 'Playbook' to help businesses create their own stories - one tweet (or retweet) at a time.

I am back! This week, LinkedIn was the "big man in de bizness", rolling out new features by the dozen (literally!), to the delight of many. Snapchat did a report based on foot traffic of Snapchatters, and provided marketing tips for the Back-to-School shopping season. And much more...

Boy has this been a week for Facebook! The chickens have come home to roost, and their approach to data has come to bite them in the ...shut yo' mouth!

But life continues, and the social media world kept it moving. There were news and updates aplenty from Twitter, Google, ... and of course Facebook, amongst others.

And a certain movie is not just breaking records at the box office.

News from 11th - 17th March 2018.

'Sunny Side Up' is now 'What's Up Social Media?', and the podcast goes under renovation. A Facebook Live was hosted instead, and this is the recording.

This was a significant week, as a major scandal concerning big data broke wide open, and a social media platform stepped on the toes of yet another celebrity.
