When we are expanding our comfort zones, it is important that we check in with which beliefs are serving us and which ones aren’t—but it is also important that we check in with our actions and ask ourselves “is this working?”
The most important part of this process is to be radically honest with yourself. It can be hard to admit when we could be doing more. Or to admit that the actions we have been taking…just aren’t working anymore. And it can be difficult to readjust and recalibrate, but it is necessary if we want to continue to expand and push our boundaries.
Sometimes our method of operations has ann expiration date. Things that used to serve us no longer do. And we have to trust ourselves to release those old ways of doing things and invite in new habits, actions, or rituals that have a greater impact on our growth or success.
Even becoming aware of what’s working and what isn’t had a drastic effect on things for me. Just bringing attention to the things that aren’t working for me (shame, guilt, stress) showed me that it wasn’t my actions that were the issue—it was the emotions that I was carrying into the process with them.
Sending so much love,
Dahlia
