DISCLAIMER: I am not a licensed doctor or therapist.
These is just my experience with medication. You should always consult with a doctor when making decisions about which medication is right for you.
I recorded this episode about a week and a half ago. I hesitated to share because it felt incredibly personal, vulnerable, and if I'm being honest, scary.
However, I wanted to get honest about my experience with medication, the spiritual community, and the effect it had on my mental health—specifically when it comes to the language used in the spiritual community and how it can do more harm than good.
I talk about my personal journey with antidepressants after years of resisting them because of the deeply-rooted shame that comes with the "high vibes only" culture.
If you've ever felt confused, judged, or gaslit by spiritual rhetoric, this one's for you.
Last week I mentioned sharing some of my Tiktok content on the podcast, so this is the first episode I wanted to share.
In this "mini-episode," I talk about the importance of "slow hobbies." I am learning a lot from this process, mostly patience. Delayed gratification is not new to me, but I do sometimes forget how long things take.
When I feel confused, I look to nature for answers. Don't forget that the seed is undergoing immense change before we ever see any "proof of progress" above the soil.
Thank you guys for going on this journey with me. The podcast is a living, breathing thing. It is changing with me. The fun is in the exploration, right?
"I almost forgot this was the whole point."
And, of course, follow me on Tiktok for more content like this.

Hello from the In-Between!
This episode is all about what it means to be in that quiet, raw, in-between space where everything's shifting, but nothing on the outside looks different (yet).
A lot of systems and beliefs that I used to depend on have completely disintegrated, and honestly, so did I. I have slowly been shifting, becoming something new. And even if you can't see it from the outside...internally? Everything has shifted.
This time period has been all about letting go and trusting the process. Believing it before I see it, and knowing that really letting go means you cannot go back to the old life because it no longer exists.
In this episode, we explore the paradox of receiving through letting go.
As I was editing this podcast, I felt like I was speaking to myself. It was a great reminder that sometimes progress feels like regression, but that's often just the pulling back of the slingshot before catapulting forward towards our manifestations.
I am so grateful to everyone who listens. Thank you for spending your time and energy with me. I promise I am so grateful to you.
And thank you for going through this journey with me.
We are just getting started.

AMAZING MEDITATION:

Perfectionism isn't just about color-coding planners and obsessing over every tiny detail–it runs way deeper than that.
In this episode, I’m breaking down unexpected ways perfectionism might be showing up in your life without you even realizing it. From feeling like you have to “earn” rest to constantly trying to package yourself in a way that’s digestible for others, we are getting into the sneaky ways perfectionism keeps us stuck–and more importantly, how to break free.
If you’ve ever felt like you need to know everything before you can speak on it, or like you’re only valuable when you’re producing something, this one’s for you!
What is my subconscious trying to tell me?
This episode came straight out of a dream. It was about the search and retrieval of [emotional] baggage and how much that can cost us.
We all carry something- beliefs, expectations, old versions of ourselves- that we think we need. But what happens when we finally unpack it, only to realize it was never worth the weight?
In this episode, I explore the hidden cost of attachment and how it can keep us from fully living in the present. Through personal insights and reflections, I dive into ways that we hold on to things- not just people or past experiences, but identities, dreams, and expectations that may no longer serve us.
If you've ever felt stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, or struggling to let go, this one's for you!
What emotional baggage are you searching for or holding on to, and how much is that costing you?
Over the past few weeks, I have been examining my belief that being good will keep me safe.
This episode was a result of the exploration of those beliefs.
In this episode, I cover topics about the dangers of spiritual bypassing, understanding anger and boundaries, the myth of being good for safety, the importance of disruption, and liberation from the need to be good.
I hope you guys enjoy, and make sure to follow/subscribe!

At the beginning of 2024, I set the intention to "focus on the process rather than the result." In congruence with that intention, I also chose one word I wanted to embody: Courage.
This week's episode recaps the surprising results of 2024's experiment, as well as diving into my intentions for 2025.
I know that things look really scary in the world right now, but I want everyone to remember that we get to choose what we focus on. Setting an intention for this year will give you something to send your awareness to when the world feels too big and too scary.
I will always be here, and one of the main goal's of this podcast is to create a community so that more people can feel seen and heard. My goal is to always be a place where you can come to find hope at most and a distraction at the least. Remember that it is an act of rebellion to create and find joy during times of struggle. I am here, and I am not going anywhere.
I love you guys,
dahlia
It's a Blast from the Past! (and not just becuase we recorded this interview back in June)
Tiktok's Queen of Nostalgia, Jenna Barclay, joins me to discuss everything from our favorite Y2K trends to the deeper conversations about how social media has rewired the minds of an entire generation.
We discuss the early days of paparazzi, the fears that surrounded the new millennium, and how the consumption of media has evolved over the last two decades.
All of these conversations led to the ultimate question:
Are we nostalgic for an era that never existed?
*this week's episode was initially supposed to be on video, but due to editing software changes I was unable to load the video.
