When someone doesn't show up for you or knows how to love you

well it's really not about you. It's the piece that is unfilled in their relationship

with allowing God close enough to those areas of their heart.

Luke 16:10 - He who can be trusted with a little can also be trusted with a lot. True leaders don't think well if I had more authority I could accomplish more. Leaders lead with authority or without it, the authority piece is largely an irrelevant factor in the equation. What do we do while we are waiting for our turn to lead?

Psalm 139:23-24 "Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting" One of the hardest things to do as humans is to examine ourselves. It takes a brave individual to look in the mirror every morning and ask tough questions, nevermind to ask God to test our hearts. Life's model is for growth and when we settle for just our current status of being Christ like we greatly hinder our spiritual growth. Thus not living to our greatest potential. God often asks us to do the impossible. Why? Not because He knows we can accomplish it in our own strength but rather to have us depend on Him to carry us through the finish line. We crowd our lives with other things. We fill our lives with stuff and jam pack our schedules with to do lists and overbook out lives with mund errands. Then we ask ourselves why can't we hear God clearly or see Him working when He's always involved in our lives.

Everyday we have an invitation to answer a knock at the door to invite God into our lives and choose His ways over ours, all He asks is for us to make room for Him as He has always done for us.
