You got up. You had breakfast. You got dressed. You cleaned your room. Now what? Any ideas? Got some fun things to do? Or places to go? What’s your big idea for the day?

Whatever your big idea is…it can wait. I don’t mean for a year, a month, a week, or even a day. But it can wait…till you spend a little time thanking God for your life today. After all…if it wasn’t for Him, you wouldn’t even be here. And you sure wouldn’t have your big idea. Or even any little ones. He made you. And He gave you a good brain. And He wants to see what kind of magical things you can do with it. So, don’t you think it’s a good idea to take at least a couple of minutes to stop and thank Him?

Maybe you could say something like this…

Thank you God for big ideas

And for my life today.

Thank you for my breakfast

And the time I get to play.

Thank you Lord for loving me

And hearing when I pray…

And I trust You’ll help me with

My big idea today.
