Tricia Howe joins us for an Interview Series premiere! Tricia Howe has worked with music educators and organizations across North America for over 20 years and is the Regional Manager of Educational Services for the Prairies with Long & McQuade Musical Instruments. She has presented at conferences and universities across Canada on building musical communities and repertoire selection. Tricia produces the Canadian Band Association’s Canadian Repertoire Feature, and has served on the boards of the Alberta Band Association, Canadian Band Association, Visiting Bands Committee for the Calgary Stampede, Music Mentors International, the Alberta International Band Festival, MBA Optimist Committee, Phi Beta Mu – Mu Alpha Chapter, Women Band Directors International, the Coalition for Music Education in Canada and Music Conference Alberta. She was honoured with the 2011 Manitoba Band Association Award of Distinction and in 2014 honourary membership in Phi Beta Mu, and was awarded the Alberta Band Association Award of Distinction for 2020. She is currently the vice president of the Canadian Band Association.
