Cs: Podzimní vítr se proháněl úzkými uličkami Starého Města v Praze a listí se ladně snášelo k zemi.
En: The autumn wind swept through the narrow streets of Staré Město in Praha, and leaves gracefully drifted to the ground.
Cs: Jirka, který se nedávno přestěhoval zpět do tohoto města, kráčel pomalu po dlážděné cestě.
En: Jirka, who had recently moved back to this city, walked slowly down the cobblestone path.
Cs: Přemýšlel o minulosti a o tom, jak se za léta město změnilo.
En: He thought about the past and how the city had changed over the years.
Cs: Necítil se už jako doma, chyběli mu staří přátelé a známé tváře.
En: He no longer felt at home; he missed old friends and familiar faces.
Cs: Došel až ke známé kavárně, kde se vzduchem nesla vůně právě pražené kávy.
