When Calling in Sick is Not an Option! Workplace Experts on How to Avoid Unnecessary Conflict

Slowly but surely, the world seems to be emerging from its COVID-induced fog that has been hovering over our planet for more than two and a half years. And with that comes many a company’s decision to ask their employees, who have been diligently working from home during this period, to pull the plug on their laptops and come back to the office.

But therein lies the rub … a lot of people have become quite comfortable in this brave new world of work and have no desire to come back to the office. Why? Well, beyond having the ability to work in our pajamas, grab a snack from the kitchen at a moment’s notice, or take a walk around the block at anytime, many point to the ability to avoid the conflicts, disagreements, and misunderstandings that are inevitable when you are physically rubbing elbows with your colleagues in the traditional workplace.
