Cs: Střecha Staroměstského náměstí se leskla pod bílou pokrývkou sněhu.
En: The roof of Staroměstské náměstí glistened under a white blanket of snow.

Cs: Bylo období Vánoc a celý prostor byl osvícen malými světýlky, které se mihotaly ve větvích vánočních stromků.
En: It was the Christmas season, and the entire area was illuminated with small lights that twinkled in the branches of the Christmas trees.

Cs: Vzduch voněl skořicí a svařeným vínem.
En: The air smelled of cinnamon and mulled wine.

Cs: Na stáncích se nabízel medový perník a ručně vyráběné ozdoby.

Cs: „Ahoj, Lenko,“ pozdravil chladným hlasem, který skrýval jeho vnitřní smutek.

Cs: „Nevím, kde hledat inspiraci.
En: "I don't know where to find inspiration.

Cs: Vše mě zdánlivě unavuje,“ přiznal se.
En: Everything just seems to exhaust me," he admitted.

Cs: Lenka se usmála a nabídl mu teplý šálek svařeného vína.
En: Lenka smiled and offered him a warm cup of mulled wine.

Cs: V tom přišel Viktor, Marekův starý přítel.
En: At that moment, Viktor, Marek's old friend, arrived.

Cs: „Hej, Marek!
En: "Hey, Marek!

Cs: Co se s tebou děje?
En: What's going on with you?

Cs: Už dávno jsi nepřinesl žádná nová díla,“ řekl starostlivě.
En: You haven't brought any new works for a long time," he said with concern.

Cs: „Možná je potřeba na chvíli přestat hledat ve vlastním nitru a podívat se kolem sebe,“ navrhl.
En: "Maybe you need to stop looking within for a while and look around you," he suggested.

Cs: Ti tři se procházeli kolem stánků, dokud se nedostali k stromu.
En: The three of them strolled around the stalls until they reached the tree.

Cs: Právě tam Marek, v jedné chvíli, jakoby kradmo, zahlédl dokonalý moment.
