Competition, or the existence of multiple brands worthy of buyers who either think similarly or offer similar products and services, can be positive or negative for your growth as a business (and an entrepreneur).

I’ve seen how competition in the traditional sense can hurt a business, from driving prices dramatically down to causing losses of brand integrity and sacrifices that didn't need to exist.
