Jessiye Davis picks up where she left off--hanging from a razor shaarp cliff edge. Sampson, Dimple, and Minguu are eager to get the amulet and get the heck out of danger. But danger just seems to increase, as it tends to do when a character named Bob shows up, and a whole new side of the story is revealed! Or would be, if VV didn’t pass out just at the good part.
Then, on Dirty Crit, some insight into Nightskins—a very cool name with a very uncool origin. Also, a discussion of Sampson’s complete lack of large damage spells, and how to spot abusive relationships between DnD NPCs.

Jessiye Davis continues to lead us an adventure in the Forgotten Realms with Ole Sampson, Dimple, and Minguu. The tokolosh have fled, and apparently they stole something. The party learns what it is, why it’s important, and why the priest who lost it can’t come with them in pursuit. Because pursue they do, into the savannah of the Shaar. While Minguu’s tracking skills seem sharp, Dimple does a great job of distracting him, so Sampson has to keep them on the trail. When the three unlikely adventurers reach the end of the tracks, they find themselves at an old temple–but one that seems like it’s had recent use. They delve into it, past electric birds, puzzle rooms, and sleeping tokolosh, and are quite surprised by what they find within.
Then, on Dirty Crit, a discussion of how we do puzzles, both in game and out of game, as well as the kinds of things we like to put in our character builds.

Jessiye Davis, our first guest DM, begins our adventure through The Shaar, a part of The Forgotten Realms that is inspired by real world Africa. Meet Ole Sampson, Dimple, and Minguu, and join them as they begin to investigate the drought and blight that is plaguing The Shaar.
Then, on Dirty Crit, a discussion of avoidance, the meta-game relationship inherent between any character and the person playing them, and the heightened emotions that D&D allows us to explore, even if seemingly contradictory in nature.

The Ride or Dies wrap up their communion with the Evertree, and then wrap up their time in the Sanctuary. Everyone says goodbye in their own way: Titan has one last dance, Jasoo has an eternal embrace, and Jo just says fare thee well. For Jiminy, however, goodbye is too good a word, and what he says about the URSA Corporation is more than a little unsettling. So while they have leads to pursue and a sense that the puzzle pieces might all be laid out before them, what they’ll find next down the long and winding road, no one is quite sure.
Then on Dirty Crit, the ethics of drugging a problematic member of society, and other issues of conflict resolution.
This is our (unofficial) last episode of season 1! After this, we’ll be taking a break from Rokhatima and have some other adventures coming your way starting after Spring Break.

The Prophet of Evertree has awoken, but all is not well. The Ride or Dies have a thief to catch who's quick on his feet, and well equipped. Once that’s put to rest, then finally the party can learn some of the sage wisdom of this ancient grove. Jo gets a new accessory, Titan gets a clue about their magical connections, and Jasoo is reacquainted with the light of the sun. As many deep questions finally find answers, one cryptic passage resurfaces that still bears investigation: the Prophecy of Evertree.
Then, on Dirty Crit, there’s much to discuss, including practical uses of mind control, how we change our behavior, parenting–and much more!

Nerves are on edge as Jo and Titan witness Jasoo delivered from yet another mountain lake by yet another draconic spirit. The dragon teaches them much, and they return to Evertree having gotten what they came for. There’s a new face that greets them on the way, however, and many more faces to meet before reaching the Prophet. Titan is, as always, persuasive, Jo puts her necklace to work, and Jasoo puts her healing to the test. But after treating the Prophet, all is not well. What’s that hammer doing, and what happened to the Doomstone?
Then Dirty Crit abounds–consent for interstellar travelers and their symbiotes, walking folks home, and Rokhatima’s ecological overlaps with our real world.
