In this episode, we’ll cover how our brains focus on negative (or perceived negative) events way more than positive events. We’re wired to keep replaying situations over and over again when we have an experience that doesn’t feel so good. The positive ones, well we say “woo hoo” and move on. When it comes to sales, often times our frustration around connecting with prospects and getting business is created because we’re setting the wrong expectations. That frustration then leads to negative feelings about ‘sales’ and that’s when we lose momentum. We’ll be covering not only how expectations should be set for converting prospects to customers, we’ll also cover how important it is to set goals for multiple follow-ups… which are the key to building the relationships necessary to earn the right to do business.
