In this episode of ScHARR Chain Reaction podcast Dr Enass Duro talks to Ellen Lee about her role and how she manages her work life balance, amongst other topics.

Ellen joined CTRU as a Medical Statistician in October 2011. Before that she graduated with a BSc degree in Economics and Mathematics and an MSc in Statistics with Medical Applications from The University of Sheffield. Ellen has also worked for the NIHR Research Design Service Yorkshire and the Humber (RDS-YH) and in the Cancer Clinical Trials Centre, Sheffield.

Current projects

Ellen is based in Design, Trials and Statistics and is currently involved in the following projects:

  • ASPECT - Alleviating Specific Phobias Experienced by Children Trial
  • The PRIEST Study: Pandemic Respiratory Infection Emergency System Triage
  • The PITSTOP Study - Pllonidal sinus Treatment: STudying the OPtions
  • ASTIClite - Autologous Stem cell Transplantation In refractory Crohn's disease - Low Intensity Therapy Evaluation
