In this episode I am speaking to Maria, who tried to conceive for 13 years.  Just as she was about to give up and accept her faith, she found out she was pregnant.  She found herself stressed during her pregnancy because she had previously miscarried.  Another layer of worry was added when she was given the news of a 99% chance her baby had trisomy 18 (a condition that causes severe developmental delays).  She was faced with the possibility that she would need to abort the baby.  She stood strong in her faith and faced this news like a warrior.
