When God freed Israel from their slavery in Egypt, He knew they might feel isolated and alone as they traveled through the wilderness and into the Promised Land. As a result, He provided a visible reminder of His constant presence in the Ark of the Covenant. Today, the Lord reminds us that He also is with us in our moments of isolation and loneliness. We enjoy His presence through His Holy Spirit and rejoice that He is not only with us, but lives in us.
