God chose a small town and a humble woman to bring about the most miraculous event in history: the birth of Jesus! Here we see the story of Mary, the favored woman who was chosen to be the mother of the Son of God. This Christmas, let us remember that God's love extends to all, regardless of our social standing or worldly accomplishments. May we seek to be faithful and pure-hearted, like Mary, so that we too may be chosen to fulfill God's plans.
