Cs: Jakub a Ludmila šli po úzké stezce v šumavském lese.
En: Jakub and Ludmila walked along a narrow path in the Šumava forest.
Cs: Byl jarní den.
En: It was a spring day.
Cs: Sluníčko svítilo skrz zelené listy stromů.
En: The sun shone through the green leaves of the trees.
Cs: Kvítka po cestě voněla.
En: The flowers along the path were fragrant.
Cs: Všude kolem zurčely malé potůčky.
En: All around, small brooks babbled.
Cs: Jakub se zastavil a podíval se na svoji sestru.
En: Jakub stopped and looked at his sister.
Cs: "Lído, chci, abys věděla, že rodina tě má pořád ráda," řekl potichu.
En: "Lído, I want you to know that the family still loves you," he said quietly.
Cs: Ludmila se na něj podívala a na chvíli se zastavila.
