People who don’t like sports have always paid for cable networks they didn’t watch. The nature of a cable or satellite package is you pay $80 or $100 for a bunch of channels, some of which you like and some of you don’t. While a growing number of people have decided this bundle doesn’t work for them --  cord-cutters! -- more than 80 million households still pay for some kind of cable or satellite package.

Taking the anti-wrestling status quo of reminding viewers that the product is fake, Segura did not hold back during an unabashed takedown of pro wrestling and those who consume it:

“I think wrestling is for [expletive]. But so many people like it, it is the [expletive] stupidest [expletive], and I think you’re a [expletive] tool if you’re like ‘hey man, it’s not fake!’ It’s [expletive] fake, and you’re a [expletive] idiot.”

Crediting “a person familiar with the matter,” the premium VOD release of “Trolls World Tour” generated $100 million in revenue in three weeks  — more than the original “Trolls” did in its time in theaters in 2017. And in case that wasn’t clear enough, a quote from parent company CEO Jeff Shell took a highlighter to it:  “As soon as theaters reopen, we expect to release movies on both formats.”

AMC Entertainment CEO Adam Aron doesn't like that idea. In an open letter to Universal Filmed Entertainment Group chairman Donna Langley, he declared AMC Theaters will no longer play any Universal films effective immediately. Regal Cinemas joined in, saying it won't show films that don't offer exclusive windows.
