In Judges 6:1-10, it can be observed among God’s people their various experiences of painful reversals: freedom achieved and then lost under foreign yoke, from prosperity to complete lack, and then, ultimately, their cries confronted with His Truth. Yet even amidst great disciplining, the Lord was working towards one thing, and that is to bring His people back to Himself.
