Jesus doesn’t always meet our expectations—not because He failed, but because we had the wrong ideas. And in John 7, we see that many people were disappointed in Jesus. He didn’t operate on their timetables, they thought He hadn’t proven Himself, and He seemed like an unlikely Messiah. So in today’s Bible study, we’ll see what happened here and how we often have the wrong ideas about what Jesus should do.
