I have four kids, and they are all girls. And let me tell you, when you have a lot of kids of all one gender, you get a lot of comments, and there’s one in particular that pops up again and again: Are you going to try again for a boy? I mean, come on, everyone wonders, and some people actually say it out loud. But it’s a question I never mind answering, because the truth is we do want to try for No. 5 someday, and I do have a gender preference.
