Sl: Luka je stal na robu pečine in zrl proti ruševinam templja Poseidona.
En: Luka stood on the edge of the cliff, gazing toward the ruins of the Temple of Poseidon.

Sl: Stari marmornati stebri so se dvigovali visoko proti zimskemu nebu, a Luka se je zgubil v svojih mislih.
En: The ancient marble columns rose high against the winter sky, but Luka was lost in his thoughts.

Sl: Prišel je v Grčijo z upanjem, da bo našel navdih za svoj zgodovinski roman.
En: He had come to Greece hoping to find inspiration for his historical novel.

Sl: Vendar se je zdaj počutil negotovega, prevzetega z dvomi o svojih sposobnostih.
En: However, he now felt uncertain, overwhelmed by doubts about his abilities.

Sl: “Zakaj ne pišeš o nečem, kar res začutiš?
En: "Why don't you write about something you truly feel?"

Sl: ” ga je nekega popoldneva med ogledovanjem ruševin vprašala Maja.
En: Maja asked him one afternoon while viewing the ruins.

Sl: “Tvoj roman bi lahko bil navdihnjen prav tu.
En: "Your novel could be inspired right here.

Sl: Kot kronika najinega doživetja.
En: As a chronicle of our experience."

Sl: ”Luka je sprva odlašal, a v njegovih očeh se je pojavil iskrica upanja.
En: Luka hesitated at first, but a spark of hope appeared in his eyes.

Sl: “Nikoli nisem pomislil na to,” je priznal.
En: "I never thought of that," he admitted.

Sl: “Mislim, da bi to lahko delovalo.
En: "I think it could work."

Sl: ”V tistem trenutku, ko je zimsko sonce začelo zahajati, sta se Luka in Maja ustavila ob starem oltarju.
En: At that moment, as the winter sun began to set, Luka and Maja stopped by the ancient altar.
