Gentleness or meekness is sometimes associated with weakness. Yet, the original word means strength under control. What example comes to your mind that fits that description? (e.g. animals, athletes)

Read, compare, and contrast Genesis 4:22-24 and Philippians 2:5-7a. How have you seen strength used to elevate oneself or put someone down? 

Take an inventory of the strengths and wide variety of assets God has given you (e.g. intelligence, humor, organizational skills, your home, words).

How might you consider leveraging your strengths to be used to reflect God’s love into the world?
