Jesus and the apostles used the name of Jesus when they prayed, yet many in the church today have taken to "pleading the blood" or believing they have to use the blood of Jesus to scare away demons. This is a ritualistic and occultic idea that has infiltrated the church. The whole idea is against the name of Jesus. It is time to take this out of our prayer lives and bring back the power of the name of Jesus in the way in which it is intended.
