March 30, 2024: Before sunrise, the moon is near the star Antares.  After sundown, Jupiter and Mercury are in the western sky.

March 29, 2024: Before sunrise, the morning moon is near Scorpius in the south-southwest sky.  After nightfall, Jupiter and Mercury are in the western sky.

March 28, 2024: The gibbous moon is near the Scorpion’s Claw before sunrise and near midnight.

March 27, 2024: After sundown, Mercury begins a slide into brighter twilight to the lower right of Jupiter.  Find the moon before daybreak and again before midnight.

March 26, 2024: The moon passes Spica.  Notice the lunar orb’s locations compared to Spica before sunrise and after sundown.

March 25, 2024:  A Worm moon penumbral lunar eclipse occurs during early morning hours.  The moon passes through the outer regions of Earth’s shadow, reducing its reflected sunlight.

March 24, 2024: Mercury is at its best evening appearance of the year for northern hemisphere sky watchers.  The Full (Worm) moon occurs tonight.

March 23, 2024: Mercury is at its best evening appearance of the year.  Find it lower than Jupiter in the western sky after sundown.

March 22, 2024: The March Leo moon is near Regulus, Leo’s brightest star during the night.  Mercury approaches its best morning of the year.

March 21, 2024: After sunset Mercury approaches its peak view for the year.  Jupiter is higher in the west above the speedy planet.
