November 15, 2022: Jupiter’s Great Red Spot is visible through a telescope twice today.  Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn span the sky from east-northeast to the southwest during the early evening.

November 14, 2022: Before sunrise, the gibbous moon is near Pollux, one of the Gemini Twins.  During the evening, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn span the sky from east-northeast to southwest.

November 13, 2022: Mars moves between the Bull’s horns – Elnath and Zeta Tauri – for the second time.  During the evening, Mars joins Jupiter and Saturn in a three-planet display.

November 12, 2022: See the bright outer planets – Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.  The moon is east of Mars near the Gemini Twins.  The Great Red Spot makes an appearance for the Americas.

November 11, 2022: A rare grouping of Mars, the moon, and Elnath, the northern horn of Taurus, occurs this morning.  Overnight, the bright outer planets are on exhibition.

November 10, 2022: The moon continues to close in on bright Mars.  Compare their respective places before sunup and after sundown.  Jupiter’s Great Red Spot is in an ideal location for sky watchers with telescopes.

November 9, 2022: Uranus is at opposition after midnight.  The planet is visible through a binocular.  The bright moon moves toward Mars in Taurus.  The lunar orb is near the Pleiades star cluster.
