When the Resurrected Christ Appeared and Ascended - Luke 24

In this sermon we were reminded that the risen Christ appeared to His disciples to confirm His victory, announced that the gospel be proclaimed to all nations, and ascended to reign in glory. His finished work indeed compels sinners to believe, and His kingship calls us to worship Him with joy and confidence."Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and said to them, 'Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things.'" (Luke 24:45-48)
