This Google Meet was recorded on 11/12/2020 when I was still in a mindset of trying to find solutions, discussing potential strategies like peer mentoring, personalized support, and adapting the expectations for virtual learning.

To sum up the reason I’m sharing, I’m inspired by the genius Lin-Manuel Miranda, who captured Eliza’s struggle of controlling one's story in Hamilton. I’m unerasing myself from the narrative so that future historians won’t have to wonder how Jenni reacted before the truth broke her heart. 

I spent years advocating for students while trying my hardest to take myself out of the narrative. Since that didn’t work, and this is my Substack, I can be the main character now.
