Dedicated to Hailey.

This story is one of my all time favourites and was inspired by such a strange occurrence. I noticed a young lady boarding a school bus in the middle of winter, and she was wearing flip flops. My imagination ran away with itself and soon I was picturing the transitions of back to school fashion to mid-winter freezing. You must remember winter in Canada sports a great deal of below freezing temperatures. Have a listen and you'll get the idea.

I would love to see this story illustrated one day. One of my favourite children's authors is Robert Munsch and I think he would get a laugh too.
