I had lifelong plans, big plans, but I did not plan on living next door to what I thought was make-believe, a myth, or a legend at best. But here we are, living next door to Bigfoot, and I believe more than one.

It began with the small things that appeared sporadically, minor irregularities I noticed around my new property, particularly in the fall and winter. Then, one day, I had a run-in with my new neighbors, and I would never be the same again.

Here is my story…

My grandfather passed away. My family chose me to wrap up his estate and the sale of his house. It was supposed to be an uneventful process, but it was not. Instead, I experienced the most incredible, wonderful, and yet the most terrifying moments of my life.

I had heard the legends of such things roaming the Pacific Northwest. When he was alive, my grandfather would tell me stories when I was a kid, around the campfire of the beast that visited the area of Logtown from time to time. I did not believe him then, but I do now.

Here is my story…

Contrary to popular belief, the Pacific Northwest is not all rugged mountains and rugged coastline. There are meadows and deep valleys, too, and apparently, some have monsters lurking around them.

I have always believed in Bigfoot since the day I was introduced to the idea of such a creature. As a kid, I read all the books the school library had on the subject. But I never thought I would see one, and I never thought I would see one out in my neck of the woods, or lack thereof.

Here is my story…

I was fighting fires that summer, but my incident, well, the scariest event in my life, did not happen until late September and early October.

Bigfoots are real, and frightening too! I love my job, even to this day, but I now have an extra pair of eyes while I am out fighting wildfires in the woods of the Pacific Northwest, that’s for sure. Bland Mountain fire lookout is where all of this took place.

Here is my story.

For many years, between Applegate Lake and Ruch, we owned a fairly large property with a small and profitable apple orchard. It also contained a little secret, actually, a large secret. Bigfoots, and they loved apples.

Once you see one of these bigfoot creatures, your life will change, and you will realize what else could be out there in creation waiting to be discovered. However, the bigfoots we encountered may be the exception to the rule, so be careful if you ever encounter one. 

Here is our story…

Oregon’s Highway 224 is the Bigfoot Highway. I would know because I have seen these things cross the road twice and had a couple of them enter my camp once down at the Fish Creek Campground in 1995.

I was told, well, more like warned about them by my grandfather, who had a crazier encounter story than I had with them, but I never believed him, at least not until I had my first of three encounters with these things.

Here is my story.

Meet Mike from Virginia! He had a pretty unique experience when he saw a Bigfoot! At first, he thought it was a large stump, until it turned and looked at him and his family!

We called it Summer’s End, but that wasn’t the real name of the place we loved to camp when I was young. It was a pretty popular lake along the Oregon coast.

 My family and I would camp there every year, until Bigfoot happened.

I never thought for a second I would ever see such a thing, experience such a moment, not for a thousand years… but I did, well, we did.
