Snow White is a 19th-century German  fairy tale that is today known widely across the Western world. The Brothers Grimm published it in 1812 in the first edition of their collection Grimms' Fairy Tales and numbered as Tale 53.

 

26:48 Snow-White and Rose-Red ( German : Schneeweißchen und Rosenrot) is a German fairy tale . The best-known version is the one collected by the  Brothers Grimm. An older, somewhat shorter version, "The Ungrateful Dwarf", was written by Caroline Stahl (1776–1837). Indeed, that appears to be the oldest variant; no previous oral version is known, although several have been collected since its publication in 1818. Oral versions are very limited regionally.

"The Little Mermaid" ( Danish : Den lille havfrue) is a Danish literary  fairy tale  written by the Danish author  Hans Christian Andersen. The story follows the journey of a young mermaid who is willing to give up her life in the sea as a mermaid to gain a human soul.

The Three Princesses in the Blue Mountain is a famous old Norwegian fairy tale about a king and queen who have 3 daughters who must live out in the open air until they are fifteen. When they do not do this, they are carried away by a snowdrift and the king must offer a reward for their return which sets many on a quest to fulfill this.

"East of the Sun and West of the Moon" was collected by Peter Christen Asbjørnsen and Jørgen Moe.

Some translations:

00:49 -A quote from a Chinese poem 「东边日出西边下雨, 道是无晴却有晴。」

means the weather is changing all the time in spring. It’s not predictable. In Chinese 晴（means sunny）and 情（feelings; affection; love）have the same pronunciation. It’s also like a pun saying girl’s feeling(情）is very unpredictable.
