I talk about how I always seem to fill up that "extra" time I might have by overestimating how long something will take to do or by losing something. I seem to run late or just on time most days. Today my extra time was eaten up by not realizing I had left my keys in the door overnight.
I also talk about how my mom and my coach spontaneously reached out to talk to me and how nice that was. On the other hand, my conversation with my parents reminded me of how judgmental they can be and how I really don't want to talk to them about the house and its issues or progress.
N.B. I later discovered that my Mom did NOT call me out of the blue, but thought she was returning my phone call. I can't think of when I called her last and left a message, but I must have.
