I draw the title of my sermon today from the story found in 2 Kings 6, where the prophets in Elisha’s school come to him and seek to extend the place they were living in. As one of them begins to cut down a beam, the axe head falls into the water. It is reported to Elisha and he asks the prophet to show him exactly WHERE DID HE LOSE IT? I elaborate on us identifying and searching where we lost our joy, hope, confidence, trust etc. THE AXE HEAD will swim miraculously. God is the one who is able to RESTORE and RECOVER what you lost. ❤️
