On the Second Breakfast this week Sonja chats with Mike Fikaris from Silent Army Comic Art Collective and Safdar Ahmed from the Refugee Art Project about their project, new book Where Do I Belong?
Where Do I Belong? is an art project bringing together 120 pages of varying responses to this question asked to people in prison, detention centres and art classes in Melbourne and Sydney.
They also discuss the terrible impact of detention and what it means for any community to be given a voice.
The book launches on July 10 at the Melbourne City Library space.
