He is a First Nations Health Leader and Cultural Advocate, accomplished Artist and mentor. He has more than 15 years’ experience working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health in regions and communities around the East Coast of Australia. He is a passionate advocate for systemic change to create better health for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Together, we explore themes of deep listening, relational integrity, cultural appropriation and appreciation. The conversation addresses the importance of honesty, repairing our connections to nature and each other, and the experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. They discuss challenges faced in the healing arts industry, the significance of cultural awareness, and the vital need for genuine relational repair with First Nations communities.
