Hash It Out returns with an episode dedicated to thinking critically about sexuality education, abortion access, and how different populations can get the information they deserve.
For non-normative populations, like queer people or trans folk, it can be hard to get medically accurate information. Doctors are legally required to provide false information to patients seeking abortions and most schools don’t mandate sexuality education at all. Courtney and Judith discuss these issues and also provide suggestions for places to find resources, which you can also find in the recommended reading document below.
As usual, we prepared a list of resources we consulted, plus some background reading and further research you could do to understand the issue more thoroughly. Check the link here: https://goo.gl/k9KgRt
