This was prompted by Sophie Ellis Bexter*s post on Instagram a couple of weeks ago about the lack of female artists at festivals. I wanted to look a bit more into the detail a bit more on this one and see if that was the case. This led me to thinking about the seemingly lack of rock chicks and female rock stars and I have a look at the reasons that might be. Is this whole Manosphere scaring women off putting themselves into the limelight? Or has the stalking of famous female celebrities had an impact? After all celebrities are the people that are usually being stalked, it would be highly unusual for a celebrity to be stalking a normal everyday girl. If people found out then it would affect the way that this celebrity were seen by society, especially if they have a narcissist need to be liked.
