Day 65: Everyone deserves an easy day now and then! We hiked 15 miles and took loads of long breaks to enjoy Skyland Resort, trail magic from Suds, and to avoid rain. Mileage 930-945

Day 64: Three days in the Shenandoah. A wayside, a campstore, and 24 miles down. Mileage 906-930

Day 63: It might not sound like it, but each day has its own lows that are challenging to overcome out here. Today we talk about what helps us overcome a bad mood on trail. Mileage 885-906

Day 62: We made it to our second national park! I love Shenandoah and am so happy to be back. Over the next five days we will walk the entire length of the park, as the AT forms it’s backbone in conjunction with Skyline Drive. Mileage: 864-885

Day 61: An easy day into Waynesboro, VA. A short five miles before hanging out at Stanimal’s hostel to get set for the Shenandoah National Park! Mileage: 859-864

Day 60: Another fun day in VA! Twenty-two miles featuring a tough climb up Three Ridges, a ski resort, and an amazing view up Humpback Rock. Mileage 837-859

Day 59: Twenty-five miles went down like water! It was an eventful day featuring a famous shelter, trail magic, and my favorite tent site yet. Mileage: 812-837

Day 58: What a day! My friends came down to camp with us. Mileage: 798-812

Day 56: Thirteen miles into Buena Vista in the pouring rain with Wild Turkey and Ozark. BUT it was so worth it because my friends are here! Mileage: 785-798
