Three years after she escaped North Korea, social media celebrity Lim Ji-hyun suddenly went missing. She resurfaced in 2017 in a video posted on a North Korean propaganda website where she described her life in the South as “hell.” South Korean officials are trying to determine if she was kidnapped, and why she was targeted.
