This episode, we’re talking about Kurt Raab’s often overlooked directorial venture ISLAND OF THE BLOODY PLANTATION, and reminiscing on what could have been vs what actually was. Udo Kier and Barbara Valentin included.

This episode would not have been possible without Adrianna Gober’s contributions. Read her article on the film here! https://www.splittoothmedia.com/island-of-the-bloody-plantation/

We’re baaaack… to talk about one of our favorite Meiko Kaji performances, FEMALE PRISONER SCORPION: 701’S GRUDGE SONG! We discuss the divisive nature of the film and how we have a slightly love/hate relationship with it. Glad to be back.

What happens if you can’t let go? Bad things. Bad things happen. In this episode we talk about Joe D’Amato’s BUIO OMEGA/BEYOND THE DARKNESS and attempt to not get sick thinking about mommy issues and weird biting.

Let’s face it: children’s movies and fantasy stories are very hit or miss with most. However, the film we cover this week combines both in a wonderful way. RIDDLE OF FIRE is the spark of happiness neither of us knew we needed, but we’re sure glad we had it! Speech impediments follow here.

It’s time we cover a bad movie. In this episode, Parker and Ryan discuss MODERN VAMPIRES, a direct to video horror comedy that has all the charm of an alligator with clean teeth. Complete with long fangs, bad classical music, and an unfortunate assault involving full body vampire makeup.

Is anyone who they say they really are? Parker and Ryan find out the hard way in this audio-troubled episode covering CHARADE, the classic mystery film with age gaps, child kidnapping, and a lot of Gene Kelly hating! Did Parker forget to mention they LOVE Audrey Hepburn?

As Crazy Ralph would say, YOU’RE ALL DOOMED!!!! Today we’re discussing the most un-Doctory Doctor Who serial, The Seeds of Doom. It can also double as a session of appreciating Tony Beckley. You decide.

Time to call the fumigator… in this episode, we discuss the underappreciated indie film Motivational Growth! Still trying not to gag over spores and varying forms of consumerism mixed with depression. It’s a lot to take in and that’s ok.
