Where is the Ben Shapiro Wagon heading?

Listen Later

This Ben skit was made years ago. today when I’m trying to recycle the skit it’s a few days after Trump supporters stormed the capitiol. After the Ben skit, I’ll offer what I think would help them.
8 years ago I went to chantinly Virginia to see Alex Jones and to protest out side of Bilderberg, I could have easily gravitated towards putting my faith into Trump being like Saint Patrick and driving all the snakes out of the swamp. I am not surprised when Ravi Zacharis has Harvey Winestein claims brought to light. I have seen the devil corrupt the purest person I knew, into an unrecognizable Garygoyle. The devil can get your hopes up to oust him, like a ghenis khan mohgul maneuver he can feign retreat and then when you charge, you walk right into his encircling trap, he was not retreating, he was just getting you out of your defensible position, out in the open where his mounted archers will pick you apart.
If you are Christian what you need to hear, is our battle not against flesh and blood, we will not weed out the devil, Jesus will do that we he returns, our focus is not carnal, but spiritual, You can not put anything above god, including politics, or a special leader, get back in the Bible, and away from the news, if you knew the Bible better you wouldn’t fall for the devils schemes.
I’ll confess what first triggered me about Ben, was his dismissal of Trump 4 years ago. 4 years ago when trump was running for office, and I thought it was possible he had a shot I was lot more enthusiastic about my earthly life, that with Trump and some of the things he was saying about God, and religious protections, that it be a revial along the lines of make America Christian again. When I’d take shots at Ben back than, it was always as Ben was not trumpy enough.
This was not made with the intention of hurting ben’s feelings, I know facts don’t care about feelings, but people are not feelingless facts. The likely hood of persuading Ben that his outlook is wrong, is low, he gets paid to give his opinion it’s pretty sweet deal, he has every natural inclination to biased in keeping his deal going.
This was intended for Christians who like Ben because his politics more overlap to the Bible than the demoncrats.
But I think they get unequally yoked with hitching on Ben’s wagon. Sure Ben’s wagon is not as visually broken as the demoncrats wagon, but neither one is headed on the narrow road. Ben and the democrats both want to rule this world, and have no consideration for Jesus’s return.
Jesus refused the devils temptation to rule all the kingdoms. Ben would have taken the offer.
Jesus didn’t just argue with drunks and bums and whipped them telling them to get their act together Jesus branded the whip around people posing as holy and argued with the people who had the moral authority of his day. The drunks and bums were not the ones who captured Jesus and put pressure on Pilate to execute him. Ben denies Jesus Christ came in the flesh not my words but biblically that makes him a little anti christ, soon that will be illegal to identify who is and isn’t an anti christ bibically. Do not get on his wagon he is not heading towards eternal life and reconciliation with Jesus. He might be on the opposirte end of the wide path as the Democrats but to destruction his wagon heads.
The Bible is not a utopia manual. The Bible tells you a utopia is impossible until Jesus returns.
Jesus died rose to heaven after that the apostle Paul wrote the devil runs the world he do not say the devil only ruled over Judaea or Israel but the whole world. Jesus when tempted by the devil wasn’t just offered the the keys to Israel but all kingdoms of the earth. Yes the Bible tells us how we ought to live in this evil world to be a good witness but not how to take it over. The apostles didn’t run for office, Jesus didn’t give pilate pointers on how to govern he said you have no power over me unless God gives it. Jesus rejected the people of his day who tried to make him a king.
Paul wrote the devil ran the world after Jesus rose to heaven. In revelation We are told the devil is not defeated by Jesus until his return, concluding with the devil is still running the show.
It is a waste of time and energy to focus on politics when you should be focused on the great commission.
There are specific claims in the Bible about not loving this world, don’t think too much about your life in it, by being a Christian, you now focused on the Bridegroom returning that’s where your hope is in. God does need you to beat the devil, he will handle that. God offers you a chance to admit you’re a sinner, and to accept his gift of forgiveness, he doesn’t demand you get into politics and figure out how to raise money, make dirty deals to grease the wheels, and spend your time, trying to win a popularity contest with heathens. Politics is easier to disregard when you don’t look at the noble way the people tryin to pull you into you present it, but you see it as the the dirty business of making deals with devil, he is who the Bible says rules this world, there’s no way around that statement.
If a heathen might be upset that they can’t do what they want, when they want because they are correctly operating from they better eat drink and be merry because they have a rude awakening waiting for them when they die, they bettter get all that they can now. As a christian, you are no longer under time constraints. You now belong to the one who will give all the time in time in the world, when he returns, so who cares if now you are walking an extra mile for your lost neighbor, even if the devil puts his 10 kings in charge of all the earth, and they do with it, what they want, they are not keeping the ground when Jesus’s returns, the meek shall inherit the earth. The devil got you not to focus on making more Christians, by diverting your attention to an unwinable game, of trying to rule the earth his until jesus returns .
