It is important to understand the Father's role, and to honor Him- The book of Malachi reveals Israel's -going through the motions- of worship. God is our Heavenly Father--worthy of honor- And, our earthly Fathers are to be honored as well. In our referred text, we see three components of this message to Israel--and to us.
