It is important to understand the Father's role, and to honor Him! The book of Malachi reveals Israel's "going through the motions" of worship. God is our Heavenly Father--worthy of honor! And, our earthly Fathers are to be honored as well. In our referred text, we see three components of this message to Israel--and to us.
