Where is the Log?

The wilderness is a very important place biblically. There was the miraculous deliverance of Israel from Pharaoh’s hands to the 40 year exodus. Jesus being led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by Satan. The wilderness was Jesus safe place of prayer and also the ministry platform of John the Baptist. I believe this place is necessary to deep spiritual growth and transformation. This is so much more than conventional spirituality. This is drilling down into the wilderness of our own souls to discover the beauty of God in this frail existence. This is embracing vulnerability and the reality of my own brokenness and making the the springboard for ministry. I’m on a journey of deeper dependence on Jesus. Will you join me? Be warned, this is difficult. But there is no other way to the kingdom.
