Poetry On Life

Where Lies My Soul, What is It?

Listen Later

There is no greater gem

than the Soul

But, where lies that

invisible Gem,

Never seen, never known,

just felt

In whose closet, in whose

Realm?

If, some within me

Then, where lies the rest?

Whom do I invoke, obtest

To answer that which I

beseech,

Where, lies my Soul, What

is it?

Is there a Soul, a Spirit

A Conscience

That awakens, when

trampled upon

Or,

Is it just Right versus

Wrong

And, the noble mind’s

awakening from negligence

Caused by the insatiable

desire to gain, attain, grab,

Achieve, While the “good”

within knows how ephemeral all is

And, to give it a

spiritual facade Calls it, The Soul.

Answer me, O Lord,

Lest, You leave me

wondering

A lot more than just

Where and What is my

Soul?

Is there a Grand Design of

any kind

A purpose to Life

Beyond, living one's Days

As best as one can

Given, that it's all

destined

Or, is it?
